Understanding and Using the Offline Maps Feature

The Offline Maps feature is essential for pilots who plan to operate in areas without Wi-Fi access but still require map functionality during flight. Without an active internet connection, real-time map downloads will not be possible, making pre-downloaded offline maps crucial for navigation.

How to Use Offline Maps

  • Connect to a Wi-Fi Network: Ensure your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network before downloading offline maps.

  • Download the Required Maps:

    • Access the Offline Maps feature in the application.

    • Select and download maps for the specific area where you plan to fly.

  • Access Maps During Flight: Once downloaded, the offline maps will be available for use, even in locations without Wi-Fi connectivity.

By utilizing Offline Maps, you can ensure seamless navigation and situational awareness, regardless of internet availability.
