How to Update WISPR Flight Firmware
Before updating to WISPR Flight Firmware V1.1.0 or later, you must be on version V1.0.0. For information on updating to V1.0.0, please read the following guide https://wisprsystems.atlassian.net/l/cp/MFcW30H4.
Navigate to the https://wisprsystems.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CS/pages/79265793 page.
Download the lastest version of WISPR Ground Control and WISPR Flight Firmware.
Once saved, open the folder and extract files from the zipped folder.
The update MUST come from the extracted folder.
Connect your drone to your PC via USB to microUSB as shown below.
Open your extracted folder and select wispr-flight-firmware-update-tool.exe.
Follow the prompts on-screen until you receive the “Installed firmware file WisprFlightFirmware.apj” message in the command prompt, as shown below.
Press enter to close the prompt. Your WISPR Flight Firmware is now updated to the latest version!
It’s been found that for some PC’s, having Bluetooth enabled will prevent the installer tool from executing when attempting to load flight firmware. If you experience issues installing, verify this isn’t the cause.
