How to Connect to the WISPR OS and CPE GUI

Connecting to the Access Point

  1. Select the Wi-Fi section on your Computer or Tablet and wait until you see RANGER-PRO appear

  2. Select that Access Point and let the device connect to that access point

  3. If It ask for a password for the Access Point the password is ; password (You will only need to put that in once on each device)

Accessing the WISPR OS

  1. Once connected to the RANGER-PRO access point you may now navigate to the WISPR OS

  2. Type in 172.16.1.1 in your address bar to access the WISPR OS

  3. Once in the WISPR OS check that the Flight Controller has connection to the Companion Computer. To assure you have Flight Controller connection, check the top right for a flashing green FC and also your direction at the top is showing an azimuth.

  1. Select System Management in the top left and select settings from the dropdown menu.

 

  1. Check that drone mode is on default and the CPE Static Lan Address is set to 192.168.1.21 (Your CPE address should be set to 192.168.1.20)

  1. If either the drone mode is not correct or the CPE Static LAN address is not correct, changes those to the appropriate settings and reboot the drone for the changes to take affect.

  2. Once rebooted( If needed), connect back to the Access Point and connect back to the WISPR OS.

Accessing the CPE GUI

  1. Open a second tab while still connected to the WISPR OS and type 192.168.1.20 into your address bar.

  2. Log into the CPE interface

  3. You may now connect to the tower you are wanting to get signal from and fly the drone to find the best height, signal and azimuth by reading the live data in the CPE GUI.
