Loading Files on AA450

Once new Lidar is received, connect the AA450 to your computer using a USB to C cable. The USB-C will Once new Lidar is received, connect the AA450 to your computer using a USB to C cable. The USB will be plugged into your PC and the USB-C will be plugged into the front of the lidar. DO NOT REMOVE PROTECTIVE PLASTIC. CUT A SMALL SLIT TO ACCESS USBC.
The ALPHA_LAS disk will pop up when connected to your PC. The PARAM file can be found inside of that this file
Create a new folder under the master CHCNAV folder with the customer’s name and serial number of the Lidar and place the two V200 files in the folder. Be sure inside the folder to name those “Original PARAM Files”
Select the PARAM folder and send those original param files to CHCNAV. Include the serial number from the LIDAR. This will aleviate any confusion once the files are sent back from CHCNAV on which LIDAR the PARAM files should be loaded onto
Be sure to include the offsets when sending the PARAM files. The offsets are X 0, Y -0.104, Z 0.432
Once the New PARAM files are sent back, save the files in the customers folder and name those “New WISPR PARAMS”
Connect your AA450 back to the computer as you did before using the USB from the computer and the USB-C to the lidar. In the PARAM file, you should now be able to replace the original PARAM files with the new WISPR PARAM files sent back from CHCNAV
