Create an Account through the FAA and DroneZone
To create an FAA account, visit the FAA Registration Page and complete the required form. An FAA account is necessary before registering for an FAA DroneZone account and proceeding with drone registration.
Once your FAA account is set up, visit the FAA DroneZone Registration Page . The FAA DroneZone platform enables users to register their drones, manage registered drones under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and request Airspace Authorization.
Register Your Drone with FAA DroneZone
Visit FAADroneZone and login to your FAA DeadZone account using the "Log In" button.
Select “LAUNCH DRONE OWNERS AND PILOTS DASHBOARD”.
Select "Manage Device Inventory." This section provides an overview of your registered drone inventory, encompassing past registrations. It serves as your dedicated dashboard and repository for all devices associated with your account.
Click "Add Device" to initiate the registration process for a new drone.
Complete the "Add Device" form, select “Done”. Your drone has now been added to your cart and you can proceed to check out.
Checking out allows you to pay to add that drone to your device inventory.
When asked for Remote ID Serial Number on the “Add Device” form, enter the serial number provided on the side or bottom of the drone. If it does not allow you to use the serial number printed on the side of your drone, please contact WISPR support for assistance at support@wisprsystems.com
Upon successful addition of your drone, you are now eligible to proceed with the checkout process to formally include it within your registered drone dashboard.
During the checkout process, please adhere to the outlined steps to facilitate payment and complete the registration process for your drone.
Congrats! Your WISPR drone has now been successfully registered with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
