Wispr Ground Control Release Changelog

Wispr Ground Control Release Changelog

v0.3.1

  • Added 5s - 8s full throttle straight shot to beginning of Figure 8. This straight shot helps calibrate the Lidar.

  • Added option to adjust mission speed within Wispr Settings.

  • When Lidar is selected as the payload, RTL speed set to 10m/s. Otherwise, RTL speed is set to the the mission speed. This feature was added so that the user can distinguish Lidar data collected during the mission from Lidar data while the drone is RTLing.

  • Drone immediately goes into AUTO mode after a Figure 8 is ran.

  • Added “Avia Livox Lidar” and “Hesai Lidar” when selecting camera type in a mission.

v0.3.0

  • Added support for NTRIP server. NTRIP server settings can be found within the General settings page.

  • Fixed bug causing polygons to reset while planning a mission when the polygon is reselected to be edited.

v0.2.11

  • Set SERIAL2_BAUD back to 500000 when camera payload type is selected.

v0.2.10

Wispr Flight Firmware 0.2.1 must be used with this version and any version that releases after v0.2.10. Using another firmware with this version and later versions of Wispr Ground Control may lead to unpredicted behaviors with the drone.

  • Display cameras supported by Wispr Systems drones when selecting a camera within a mission.

  • Set camera countdown to 55 seconds to allow time for the camera and camera software to boot.

  • Removed feature that triggers RTL when an ESC temperature reaches 100°C. This feature is now implemented within Wispr Flight Firmware.

v0.2.9

  • Set SERIAL2_BAUD to 1500000 instead of 500000 when camera payload type is selected.

v0.2.8

  • Disallow certain polygon types in survey, structure scan, and corridor scan missions.

  • Automatically select either Basic or Circular based on the mission type.

  • Fixed survey, structure scan, and corridor scan missions.

  • Fixed gimbal mount control in mission.

v0.2.6

  • Fixed bug causing battery health to display a wrong value.

v0.2.4

Wispr Flight Firmware 0.1.1 must be used with this version and any version that releases after v0.2.4. Using another firmware with this version and later versions of Wispr Ground Control may lead to unpredicted behaviors with the drone.

  • Battery health is now displayed after every flight. If the battery health displayed is below 90%, it is highly discouraged to fly with that battery.

  • Added custom battery failsafe. This failsafe replaces the current low battery failsafe. This should extend flight time. An RTL will now be triggered so that the drone will return to its home location and land at 20%. Canceling this RTL is highly discouraged and only should be done in case of emergency. If the RTL is canceled, the drone should be landed immediately to prevent a crash or battery degredation.

v0.1.54

  • Added automatic figure eight button for lidar calibration. Lidar payload must be selected and drone must be above 150ft to use this function.

  • Fixed bug in AutoFocus button.

  • Fixed bug causing payload to have to be reselected every time WGC is opened.

  • Added feature to stop pictures from autotriggering when an RTL is triggered.

  • Partially fixed bug causing app to freeze when the vehicle is disconnected. This bug still persists if using Sony A7R or Sony A6000 cameras.

  • Fixed bug causing the A, B, C, and D physical buttons to reset whenever the app is updated.

v0.1.48

  • Autotrigger RTL if any ESC temperature reaches 100°C.

  • Display highest ESC temperature in top bar. If clicked, all ESC temperatures are displayed.
