Steps to set UAS ID in WISPR Ground Control

1. Update Software and Firmware

• Update WISPR Ground Control to the latest version.

• Update WISPR Flight Firmware to the latest version.

2. Power On Controller and drone - Launch WISPR Ground Control

• Power on the drone.

• Launch WISPR Ground Control on your controller.

3. Load Parameters and Access FAA Registration Section

• Allow parameters to fully load once launching WISPR Ground Control.

• Select the W icon in the top-left corner of the screen.

• Navigate to Settings → Safety → FAA Registration.

4. Enter and Verify UAS ID

   • Locate your UAS ID on the label affixed to the side or bottom of the drone.

   • If a UAS ID is already present in the settings on the controller, confirm it matches the UAS ID on the drone’s label.

   • If a UAS ID is already entered, it should be greyed out, preventing modifications.

   • Click the "Set UAS ID" button to confirm the UAS ID entry. Press “Set UAS ID” button to confirm you have entered the the drone UAS ID.

   1. Once you press this button, a slide out will ask you to confirm your UAS ID has been entered correctly. Ensure the ID is correct (it cannot be changed) and select “YES”.

   2. Select Control on the left menu bar and scroll to the bottom of the page. You will see your WISPR Ground Control version, WISPR Flight Firmware version and the Drone Serial Number. Ensure these are all correct.

5. Reboot the drone and you have now set the UAS ID!
