Pre-Arms:
Battery __ Not Detected
This message indicates only one battery is detected by the port that communicates battery data with the drone. This should be uncommon, but potentially could be seen due to tiny variations in how individual smart batteries seat and thus plug in. If encountered, push in the side lever of the battery tray on the offending side and give the undetected battery an extra push. If the problem is greater than this or frequently occurring, submit a support ticket.
Battery Voltage too Low
Users will see this if the raw voltage reading of a battery is below the acceptable threshold. Typically a user should see “Low Capacity” rather than this message. If you see this message, submit a support ticket.
Battery __ Capacity too Low
This message indicates the stated your battery has insufficient energy left to begin another flight. The minimum arming capacity must be equal to or greater than 40% to launch. Users will only see the message for one battery on screen at a time, but generally this should occur for both at once, unless one battery is at 40% and the other at 39%.
Battery Charge Difference Too Large (State of Charge Imbalance)
This message indicates that the charge percentage between the two batteries is greater than the allowed margin, which is 5%. This would be most likely encountered if the two batteries were begun charging at different times and were removed from the charger before the cycle fully completes, or if only one battery was used to power the drone for a period.
If you encounter this issue frequently/outside of the mentioned scenarios there may be another issue, and it’s advised to submit a support ticket.
Battery Cycle Difference too Great
This message indicates that one of the two inserted batteries has been charged equal to or greater than 15 more times than the battery it is paired with. Typically a user would only see this if they have mixed two batteries from different sets that are not the same age, or from taking a particular battery off the charger before a cycle is complete too many times.
Battery __ Above Maximum Arming Temperature
This indicates the battery has gotten too hot for safe usage, which might occur if the drone is left in harsh sunlight for too long while idle. If you see this message in a context that does not make sense, submit a support ticket.
Battery __ Below Maximum Arming Temperature
This indicates the battery has gotten too cold for safe usage, which might occur if the drone is left in frigid temperatures for too long. As a friendly reminder, WISPR always recommends storing batteries in a temperature controlled room, batteries suffer greatly from exposure to cold temperatures. If you see this message in a context that does not make sense, submit a support ticket.
Failsafes
WISPR Implores you to only override a battery failsafe in emergency situations. The battery failsafes, especially for charge level, are calculated to give the user the most use time that can be done safely. If you see a failsafe trigger it is in your best interest to allow it to return.

Users will see this if the raw voltage reading of a battery under load is below the acceptable threshold in flight. Typically a user should see “Battery Capacity at critical level” rather than this message. If you see this message, it’s indicative of a greater issue and you should submit a support ticket.

The typical failsafe that the user will see when the batteries are low enough that the drone must return home immediately to ensure a safe landing and prevent damage to the batteries. Currently the Sky Scout is programmed to be on the ground at 13% battery life.
Battery __ Disconnected. Triggering RTL.
This message is for the event that one of the two batteries has (even temporarily) has ceased communication with the drone. This should not be a common occurrence, but if you do encounter this issue it’s best to submit a support ticket.
