Normally when connecting with a Vio, you will see an initial parameter bar load, disappear for a few seconds, and then return, but in a state where it appears to be almost done while not moving. When you see this, the Vio is downloading its parameter list.
You can verify that this is occurring by tapping the megaphone icon and looking for “Info: Mount: GREMSY VIO fw:7.7.5.0”.
On With some Rangers Vio’s it has been observed that the Vio can either take more time than typically expected to begin booting and then , pulling its parameter list than typically seen, or both. This may appear as the camera remaining limp and for longer than one expects, or the initial parameter bar appearing to fully finish, but not return. Allow a few couple of minutes to pass and the camera should begin the booting process, with the parameter bar appearing in WisprGroundControlfor the process to conclude. There have been instances where it appears the payload is not working, but simply took longer to initiate.
I only have partial control with the Zio or Vio. Zoom does not work, nor does stream swap between normal and thermal vision for the Vio.
